Liverpool reduced backhaul resiliency - Issue resolved

The primary backhaul for Liverpool is currently down and is under investigation with our connectivity partner. All traffic in Liverpool has re-routed via alternative paths with no customer impact. We will post updates as available.

Fibre engineers resolved the fibre break at 1am. All traffic is routing via the primary paths. This incident will be marked as resolved.

We apologise for any service disruption which this caused. Connectivity for Liverpool will be reviewed as part of the analysis of this incident.

Our systems are alerting to one of the alternative paths operating at high utilisation. Customers may experience some packetloss and reduced throughput during this period until the primary path is restored.

Splicing works are complete however service has not restored. Further fibre testing is now taking place.

The fibre provider has confirmed that they have identified a fibre break. They are currently going through the splicing process to restore service. There is no current ETR however we will continue to provide updates as we receive them.
