Hello,
We would like to inform you about a planned maintenance activity on our backbone infrastructure in Bucharest, which will involve the bb1.dc1 and bb1.dc2 equipment.
This intervention is part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen network stability and long‑term service resilience.
The intervention is scheduled for Tuesday morning, 09/06/2026 at 06:30 - 08:00 EEST (03:30 - 05:00 UTC), this being the latest time window in which we can safely perform this activity.
Please note that no action is required on your side.
During the maintenance, we will apply a configuration update on both Cisco‑NCS routers and perform a controlled restart of each device, one at a time, in order to maintain service continuity. The two routers operate in a redundant architecture, and at that time the traffic level is normally low, therefore we do not anticipate any visible impact on the services. Although we do not expect any real impact on your services, please note that the operation is considered an “at‑risk activity”.
Our engineering teams will monitor the entire activity in real time, with all necessary safety measures in place to ensure a controlled and predictable transition. We will take all necessary actions immediately should any unexpected behaviour occur.
